Cruise on a Galar Boat

What better way to discover the charming city of Gdansk than from the Motława River? Hop on a replica of the historical Polish river ship–Galar boat, famously used in the 18th century for transporting wood and goods. The replica can easily fit 12 persons and glide through the river as you spot the famous Gdansk attractions and get in touch with the Polish roots and tradition.

Sightseeing Gdansk from Motława River

Start your journey from the former Gdansk Shipyard that once was the center of the workers' strike in 1980. See tourist attractions including the ruins of the 13th-century Teutonic castle, the largest castle in the world, the water gates leading to the city, the famous wooden crane from the 15th century, and the charming old tenement houses, and their new setting.

Continue admiring other monuments and new buildings of Ołowianka and Granaries islands located in the very center of Gdansk and the quay of the Port of Gdansk, a hub for exporting and importing cargos. The cruise ends back in the Galar Marina near the Gdansk Shipyard.
