Your Experience

After being picked up from your hotel, you’ll make way to the scenic Tegenungan Waterfall. Go down to the vast pebbly base and enjoy a dip in the plunge pool. After this, head to the traditional and crafty village of Mas characterized by its distinctive style in the art carving of wood sculptures. The next leg of your journey will see you at Ubud’s Monkey Forest, the sanctuary of the Balinese long-tailed Monkey. Older than its home country Indonesia, this forest features ritualistic trees, temples built upon a traditional Balinese philosophy called Tri Hita, and of course a lot of monkeys. Explore this sacred space before stopping for lunch.

After lunch, you will have the chance to browse through the Ubud Traditional Market, showcasing the craftsmanship and the artistry of the Balinese. Purchase some colorful souvenirs and then make way to Tegalalang Rice Fields. Perhaps the most iconic of all, this valley of rice paddies offers scenic lookouts over verdant landscapes. Round off the trip with a visit to a coffee plantation and learn how to make the traditional Balinese brew.
