If you are looking for an edutaining day with your family, then visit Bioparc Fuengirola. Located in the coastal town of Malaga, this park was built in 1981 with the purpose of protecting endangered animals and creating a space where visitors could study them in their most natural state. The zoo is divided into several zones carefully built to simulate the natural habitat from geographical zones such as equatorial Africa, Central and South America, Southeast Asia, and more. You can visit the equatorial Africa habitat where you ducks wading in the pond and the mighty Lowland gorilla sitting near the waterfall. Move on to the Indo-Pacific habitat where you can watch snakes and Komodo dragons relax on the rocks and temple ruins. Visit the Central and South America habitat where you can see crayfish and scalars swimming in the Amazonian river or exotic birds flying around in a Yucatan forest. You can also participate in the zoo’s immersive activities where you can listen to a guide tell you interesting facts about the animals or see lemurs cheekily look at you from their precious baobab tree on the Island of Madagascar.
