As you descend inside the Derinkuyu Underground City, you will find a newfound appreciation for the ancient folks who built it. Thousands of people previously lived, worked, and worshiped in this metropolis.

You will then travel to the Ihlara Valley for a 4-kilometer trek that will take you through spectacular cave churches and stunning rock formations. The cave churches originate from the 7th to 11th century and are among the best-preserved examples of early Christian architecture.
