Upon arrival at the theatre, be transported to Chopin’s era. It is here, right next to Castle Square, where Chopin lived, studied, and created his first works. Experience the poetic genius of Chopin's works in the Gothic halls of the left wing of the Royal Castle in the heart of Warsaw's Old Town. The intimate concert hall makes you appreciate the music as you get lost in Chopin's beautiful sonatas, preludes, and waltzes. The host will provide an informative introduction to the world-famous Polish composer in English. Next, one of the most accomplished pianists will treat you to a 45-minute recital of Chopin's masterpieces.
Enjoy a complimentary Polish drink, Polish mead, or apple juice in the intermission. During the break, take the opportunity to admire photographic exhibitions by artists from Poland and abroad. When the weather allows, step out onto the terrace and take in the beautiful view of the Vistula River. You can purchase a CD of the performance with a dedication from the artist.
