Plan the Perfect Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Visit

The Elephant Jungle Sanctuary is an ethical and sustainable eco-tourism project that was founded in July 2014 as a joint initiative between members of the Karen hill tribes of Northern Thailand and Chiang Mai locals who were concerned about the welfare of elephants in Thailand.

Half-day visit: Explore the sanctuary's history. Wear traditional Karen tribe clothes, help prepare elephant meals, and interact closely with them. Experience a mud spa and shower with the elephants, and finish with a Thai buffet.

Feed & bath package: Want a brief interaction? Learn about the elephants, feed them, and join their bath time, observing their interactions and relationships.

Feed me package: Limited time or budget? Choose the Feed Me option. Get sanctuary access, feed the elephants, and receive a free drink. Experience their gentle demeanor up close.

Choose Your Branch & Conveyance

The Elephant Jungle Sanctuary has 3 branches in Phuket. Kathu for feed & shower, a half-day visit, or a feeding experience; Thalang for an exclusive feeding experience; and Bang Tao for a half-day visit, or feeding experience. You also have the choice to pick between a convenient hotel transfer or the flexibility of driving yourself.
