Your Experience

Once you are picked up from your hotel in central Granada, you will deep-dive right into the unique landscape of the Granada Geopark. Take in the sights of picturesque villages on your way to the first stop, the Acequia del Toril. Discover how this natural aqueduct was formed over the centuries and wander around the vast vegetation that covers the Acequia and the arid landscape that surrounds it. Next up is the Gorafe Desert, known for its red sandstones and unique rock formations. It’s the perfect getaway from the bustling city life. Immerse yourself in your natural surroundings and savor the impressive panorama of different shapes and colors. While you’re here, you will pay a visit to the typical cave houses and well-preserved Dolmens of the Megalithic Park.

Continue onwards to the village of Zujar and take the opportunity to snap photographs of the panoramic views of Mirador de Jabalcon. Look down on the Quaternary sediments of the basin and listen to your expert guide tell you more about its geological history. Your tour ends with lunch in one of the best restaurants in town, where you can treat yourself to both local and seasonal food. After lunch, spend an hour of free time to have a coffee or enjoy a stroll before returning to Granada.
