You may take photos and videos inside the museum, however, please refrain from using tripods. In addition, it is prohibited to use photographs for commercial purposes without permission.

• Please refrain from eating or drinking (including candy and gum) inside the museum.
• Pets are not allowed inside the museum building. Pets must be held in your arms or a pet carrier in the shop and restaurant (terrace area).

If you wish to use the terrace area in the restaurant, please ask a member of staff. The entrance location differs from the normal entrance to the restaurant.

• The museum management assumes no responsibility for any accidents or thefts that occur in the parking lot.

This is Hyogo Prefecture's largest stone museum, exhibiting precious minerals, gems, unusual stones, and fossils collected from all over the world.

What kind of gemstones can you excavate? You may be able to excavate amethyst, lapis lazuli, fluorite, etc. You can excavate three gemstones using a hammer.
