Get picked up from your hotel in Antalya and head towards Pamukkale. Break for lunch before visiting the cascading snow-white terraced cliffs of the area, commonly called the “Cotton Palace". Stand in awe of the pure landscape, with calcite-laden waters coming from springs in 200-meter-high cliffs. As you look at the plains below, you will see several waterfalls, mineral forests, and many terraced basins created by the flowing waters.
See Hierapolis's long-standing historical sites and monuments while your guide provides insights into their significance. Learn about the thermal spa of Hierapolis, built by the kings of Pergamon in the 2nd century B.C. Discover the ruins of the Roman theater, the Apollo temple, the Roman baths, fountains, and the Agora. Find out how the temples served as significant trade centers for ancient Hierapolis.
