Your experience

A visit to one of Czech Republic’s hottest destination, the Kutna Hora city, is a must for anyone travelling to the country. This site has been there in UNESCO’s list of cultural heritage sites since 1995. Your first stop will be at the iconic St. Barbara’s Cathedral.

The bridge leading to the cathedral is adorned with several statues and statuataries on the sidewalks. The St. Barbara’s Cathedral is surrounded by stunning gardens and presents a spectacular peek into the beauty and architecture of medieval Central Europe. The interior of the cathedral is equally breathtaking. The famous vaulted ceilings that are commonly associated with the Gothic style of architecture can be seen. Several frescoes, depicting life and religious activities in the medieval town have been preserved. The glass windows, altars and choir stalls are incredible to witness in person.

The next stop is the Sedlec Ossuary. Home to more than 50,000 skeleton, the ossuary is one of the most interesting burial grounds in Europe. The centrepiece is a chandelier of bones, hanging from the centre of the nav and has garlands of human skulls draping the vaulted ceiling. At least one bone from every part of the human body can be found on this incredible chandelier. The Stone Fountain on Rejsek Square is also a must-see. Originally used to store water, in case the supply was cut off, it presents an incredible sight when it is lit up after dark. Once the tour is finished, you will be dropped back at the meeting point in Parking Na Příkopě 23, Prague 1.
