Departing from Istanbul early in the morning, this tour will take you to some of the most significant locations of the Gallipoli Campaign. Arrive in Eceabat, where you can savor lunch with panoramic views of the Dardanelles landscape. Your English-speaking guide will then take you to several battle areas, war memorials, and cemeteries.
Learn about the soldiers from the British Empire, supported by French troops, to be joined at Ariburnu by the ANZACs of the Australian and New Zealander Army Corps. Highlights of your tour include the Ariburnu Cemetery and ANZAC Commemorative Site, and the Turkish Canon Batteries. The landing beach at ANZAC Cove, which served as the main base for the Australian and New Zealand troops, is also on the itinerary.
