Arrive at a 100-year-old machiya townhouse in Kyoto for a professional kimono photoshoot steeped in tradition. You’ll be dressed in a complete kimono set—obi sash, zori sandals, tabi socks, and a traditional bag—with personal assistance to ensure everything is perfectly in place.
What to expect
Once you're dressed, step into the quiet elegance of the townhouse, once connected to Japan’s imperial past. With antique fans, a Japanese umbrella, and other traditional props, a professional photographer will guide your session and help you pose naturally in this historic space.
You'll receive 100 beautifully edited digital photos delivered to your email a few days after the shoot. To complete the look, optional hair styling and full makeup services are available at checkout. It's a rare chance to wear authentic kimono, explore a piece of Kyoto’s heritage, and take home timeless portraits from a truly unique setting.
