      • Told across 11 non-linear scenes with five different actresses portraying Mary, this Steppenwolf-to-Off‑Broadway hit earned praise as “smartly constructed and ultimately quite moving” by Time Out.

      The story

Mary Page Marlowe follows the life of an Ohio accountant whose ordinary life hides unexpected depth and complexity. Told through a time-jumping narrative with 11 non-linear scenes, and five different actresses portraying Mary at various stages of life, the play captures defining moments from youthful dreams and difficult marriages to a secret affair, a DUI, and a brief time in prison.

Tracy Letts crafts a deeply intimate portrait of memory, identity, and the consequences of our choices. But in the end, who is Mary Page Marlowe?
