Start of the tour

Meet your guide at the bottom of Montmartre Hill for a 90-minute guided walking tour of this artistic neighborhood. Walk through the winding cobblestone alleys, as your guide shares fascinating stories of the landmarks you spot.

Around the neighborhood

From the romantic Wall of Love that features I Love You in 250 languages to Bateau-Lavoir, a cluster of studios where many famous artists lived and worked including Pablo Picasso and Diego Rivera, Montmartre is teeming with sites of historic relevance. The tour continues past Moulin de la Galette, the last remaining windmill of 30 others that formerly decorated the hill, and La Maison Rose, a pink-colored cafe frequented by artists and their friends.

Sacré-Cœur Basilica

The tour concludes at the steps of Sacré-Cœur Basilica where your guide will hand over tickets for you to explore the dome on your own. Before you begin the 280-step climb to the rooftop, your guide will give you a quick overview of the basilica's history and architecture.

Climb to enjoy expansive views of the city and its suburbs.
