The 85 aquariums of the Nausicaa replicate the habitat of the sea creatures, everything from water temperature to vegetation and dietary requirements. Each space is tailored to its 58,000 residents, i.e. more than the population of Greenland! You can stroll through submarine tunnels, aquariums, water tanks, and terrariums and greet up to 1,600 species. Some of the crowd favorites are sea lions, sharks, manta rays, and penguins. If you've got kids, take them to the Touch Pool and watch them bubble with joy as they caress fishes and rays. This could be your chance to push your kids closer to nature and help develop a keen interest in the mystical wonders of the underwater world.
