At Territory Wildlife Park, you can not only observe native animals up close in their natural habitats, but also encounter them unexpectedly while strolling through the canopy aviaries, walking around the natural lagoon, or hiking along the native woodland trails. Daily guided animal shows offer opportunities for interaction with these animals. Don't miss the nocturnal exhibits, where you can see animals active only at night, and the daily "flight deck" show, where you can enjoy a free-flying display of birds.

The park features approximately 6 kilometers of walking trails ranging from easy to moderate difficulty. You can also rent bicycles or bring your own to explore the various exhibition areas and experience different natural environments; or take the free shuttle train that departs from the main station every 30 minutes.

Experience Location

We open at 9 a.m. every day. From October 1st to March 31st, the closing time is 3 PM. From April 1st to September 30th, the closing time is 4 PM.
You can only reach the park by car; there is currently no public transport access to Territory Wildlife Park.

From Darwin city centre

If you are driving, head south on Stuart Highway. After about 50 kilometers, turn right onto Cox Peninsula Road.

The park is located on Cox Peninsula Road, about 12 kilometers to your right. There are clear signs along the way; we are right next to Berry Springs Nature Reserve.
