Hop on a Scenic Cruise

Escape the stress of the city and relax in the peace and quiet of the Douro Valley! This comfortable cruise along the Douro River will give you optimal views of the Norte Region of Portugal and keep you well fed.

Board the boat either at Cais da Estiva in the Ribeira of Porto or from Cais de Gaia in Vila Nova de Gaia. Then, sail into the Douro Valley, passing the vineyards of one of Europe’s earliest demarcated regions as you enjoy a delicious breakfast. Continue to the Crestuma-Lever Dam just in time for lunch.

Go With the Flow

Sail further along the Douro River to the high Carrapatelo Dam. Arrive in Pinhão at around 5pm. Here, you will make your way to an estate where a guided tour and tasting session will take place. If required, you can be dropped back to Porto by bus, arriving around 9pm.
