Head to Solaniwa Onsen inside Osaka Bay Tower and check in at the reception with your booking confirmation. You’ll be handed a set of indoor wear, towels, and bath essentials, so no need to carry much. Once you’re dressed and ready, it’s time to unwind.
Start by stepping into the main onsen area, where you can explore nine different types of baths—including open-air tubs, garden-view soaks, carbonated spring baths, and more. The water here is slightly alkaline and drawn from 1,000 meters underground, known for leaving your skin silky smooth. You’ll also find saunas and scrub areas if you want to amp up your relaxation.
Next, head to the rooftop Tenku Garden—a massive 3,000 sq.m. space that feels more like a hidden shrine than a city rooftop. Stroll past torii gates, waterfalls, and seasonal blooms, or just soak your feet in the tranquil footbath area while taking in the skyline. Then it’s time for your facial at Koh Mask Bar. You can choose between two treatments: a gold leaf mask made from real Japanese gold that gets applied with a cream base (and yes, you’ll have time for photos), or a Casmara mask from Spain, made with natural ingredients. The treatment lasts about an hour, and you’ll feel the glow immediately.
