1st Scene: Roses from Tirol
Gruss Gott is a hearty musical welcome by the full ensemble, followed by other evergreens from the Operetta Der Vogelhandler – The Bird Seller. Enjoy instrumental pieces with a dance performance like the Zillertaler Hochzeitsmarsch – Zillertal Wedding March.
2nd Scene: The Sound of Music
This scene brings excerpts from the charming and witty Operetta Im Weissen Rossl, the classic Edelweis from the *Sound of Music*, and the dancers finish this part with a spirited Landler.
3rd Scene: The Blue Danube
The musical highlight of the show featuring Austria’s most celebrated operetta composers, Johann Strauss, Franz Lehar and Robert Stolz includes songs from the The Gypsy Baron, Wiener Blut and The Merry Widow. Witness the speedy Tritsch Tratsch Polka and the greatest Waltz of all time, The Blue Danube, performed by the ballet ensemble.
