Tour the seventh national park in Croatia

There is no better way to start your morning than a day trip to Krka National Park. Created to protect the natural landscape of the area, Krka National Park is home to several waterfalls, including the Roški slap, a 22.5 m waterfall, along with countless cascades and tufa islands. Take a half-hour boat ride to Nečven fortress, which contains the base of a cannon and engraved pottery. Then, head up to Sladic Winery, where you will be greeted by a sommelier who will guide you through a wine and olive oil tasting along with a cheese pairing.

Take a walk through history

That’s not all. You can go for a relaxing swim and some lunch at Skradin, a small town that houses Europe’s first power plant. End the tour by walking through Zadar’s Old Town. Occupied by Romans and Liburnians over the centuries, Old Town is a must-see on your visit to Croatia. From the Roman forum that sits in the heart to the Bell Tower of St. Anastasia offers a panoramic view of the town and the Adriatic Sea, this town is surely a tick off your Croatia bucket list.
