Your experience starts with pickup in Zakopane. Your driver/guide will meet you at the main entrance of your hotel or apartment at the agreed time. The first stop takes you to a traditional bacówka—a wooden shepherd’s hut—where you’ll meet local Highlanders who specialize in making Oscypek, a smoky cheese made from sheep’s milk. Sample cheeses with varying levels of smokiness while your guide tells you all about centuries-old cheese-making methods passed down through generations.
