Meeting point description: The departure place is the Sihlquai Bus Station, located behind the train station, in front of the Hotel Fred. You will need to check in at the counter marked with “Best of Switzerland Tours”. Please have the QR code on your voucher ready and present it printed or electronically on your smartphone or tablet.(Limmatstrasse 2, Zürich, Switzerland)

Know in advance:Please note this is a partially guided tour; there will be no guide during the leisure time in Lucerne and Engelberg but you'll receive all the important information printed at the check-in

What you can expect

Embark on a scenic journey along the shores of Lake Lucerne to the vibrant town of Lucerne. Your guide will point out key sights on a brief orientation drive past the Chapel Bridge, Town Hall, Jesuit Church, and the Culture and Convention Centre. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to explore the charming Old Town at your own pace.

Continue to Engelberg, a traditional Swiss alpine village nestled in a sunny basin beneath the north face of Mount Titlis. Spend around three hours discovering this picturesque village surrounded by majestic mountains. Visit the imposing baroque church of Engelberg Abbey, home to Switzerland’s largest organ, and take a quiet moment inside. Stroll through the monastery garden to the flower shop run by monks, or visit the show dairy to learn about the famous Swiss cheese. Treat yourself to a cheese platter at the café or purchase local delicacies as souvenirs.
