The ALBERTINA modern was opened in 2020, and has since then been considered Vienna's top address for modern and contemporary art. Only a few minutes’ walk from the main building, a new and exciting exhibition space has been created in the beautiful Künstlerhaus. The museum owns a collection of over 60,000 works by 5,000 Austrian and international artists, and presents comprehensive exhibitions of modern and contemporary art from 1945 to the present on more than 2,000 square meters.
