About the Experience
This thrilling experience lasts approximately 4 hours.
- Engage in the Escape the Fleet Adventure, which takes about 1–2 hours. This high-stakes, history-inspired adventure game combines elements of a scavenger hunt with the intensity of a real-life mission to save a battleship.
Inspired by the true story from 2011 when Battleship IOWA was rescued from the Navy’s reserve "ghost fleet," you'll step into the shoes of those who had only six weeks to find critical parts on a dark, sealed-up ship or risk it being scrapped forever.
Your mission starts with an informative briefing. As part of a team ranging from 2–6 participants, navigate tight passageways, climb ladders, search through hundreds of compartments, and uncover clues hidden in rarely-seen areas not accessible on other tours. Your goal is to solve the puzzle within the time limit and "save the ship."
While our trained support crew ensures your safety throughout this physically demanding adventure—including navigating ladders and tight spaces—they won’t assist with solving any puzzles. Success will require teamwork, intelligence, and boldness.
