Indoor skydiving at iFLY Sydney offers two thrilling 50-second flights assisted by certified instructors in a secure indoor setting—no planes or parachutes needed!
Getting started
Gather at the main entrance of iFLY Sydney, where you'll check in and prepare for your adventure following a brief safety briefing and training session with an instructor.
- Orientation: Participate in a group orientation led by your instructor to master basic flight techniques, body positioning, and essential safety tips. The complete experience spans over one hour, featuring two flights that mimic the freefall sensation of jumping from approximately 14,000 feet.
- Gear up: Post-briefing, you'll be outfitted with a flight suit, helmet, goggles, and earplugs to ensure your safety and comfort during the flight.
- Fly: Step into the vertical wind tunnel under the guidance of your instructor. You will float on an air cushion that replicates the exhilarating experience of actual skydiving.
- Flight certificate & next steps: Upon completion, you'll receive a flight certificate. For further skill enhancement, consider additional sessions with an instructor.

Must Know
- Bring a signed waiver downloaded from iFly Sydney's website to ensure you can start your experience without delay.
- If you have long hair, it is recommended to tie it back for safety during your flights.
- Please leave personal belongings and jewelry in the venue locker or at your accommodation as they are not permitted in the wind tunnel.
- Note that this experience requires participants to be over 16 years old and under a weight limit of 136kg; those between 118kg and 136kg need two instructors with an additional $30 fee.
