The Interrail Switzerland mobile pass offers unlimited travel across the Swiss railway network, allowing you to explore both renowned tourist spots and hidden gems on your own schedule. Choose any 3, 4, 5, 6, or 8 days of travel within a month from when your pass is activated.
Smooth Activation
- Your Interrail Pass can be easily activated using the Rail Planner App with the Pass Number found in your confirmation email. This makes it fully mobile and convenient for you to start exploring Switzerland immediately.
- Once activated, add your journey details within the app to generate a QR code ticket that must be shown to inspectors at train stations.
- If seat reservations are required on certain trains, make sure to book in advance using the Rail Planner App. Early booking is recommended for availability and convenience.

Must Know
- Ensure your Interrail Switzerland Pass is activated in the Rail Planner App using the Pass Number from your confirmation email.
- Your pass allows travel on any 3 to 8 days within a month of activation, providing flexibility for exploring on your own schedule.
- Note that this pass is exclusively available to EU residents and cannot be used by non-European travelers or in their country of residence (only allowing two journeys there).
- For mandatory bookable trains, remember to purchase seat/bed reservations via the Rail Planner app at an additional cost.
Ticket Delivery
Your pass will be emailed to you shortly after booking.
Follow these steps to get your pass ready to travel.
Your pass must be activated within eleven months after the purchasing date, and before the first travel, through the Eurail/Interrail Rail Planner App.
Seat/bed/ferry reservations for mandatory bookable trains or ferries still need to be purchased and are an additional cost to the rail pass. Seat reservations may be limited on some services, advance bookings are recommended (reservations are booked via the Rail Planner app or at the train station).
Note: Unused and unactivated passes can be canceled up to six months from the last possible activation date indicated on the mobile pass.
