What you can expect

Nestled within Kensington Gardens, Kensington Palace has been home to members of the royal family since the 17th century. As you pass through the King’s State Apartments, a series of opulent rooms such as the Privy Chamber, Cupola Room, and Drawing Room, you'll step back in time to relive the grandeur and rituals of court life. Descending the Queen’s Staircase into the beautifully manicured gardens, you can wander along the Cradle Walk and Sunken Garden, taking in the elegance of royal living in one of the most regal settings.

From 26 March to 08 November 2026, discover the story of Punjabi princess and suffragette icon, Sophia Duleep Singh and five women who shaped her extraordinary life, in a new exhibition at Kensington Palace. Groups will explore the lives of the many women of the Duleep Singh family through a vast array of objects, from portraiture to jewellery, as well as specially commissioned films.
