- Know in advance:Opening hours depending on the season: April until October from 10:00 to 18:00, November until March from 10:00 to 17:00. Exceptional closing at 16:00 on 24.12 and 31.12 (check cailler.ch website)
- The ticket has to be exchanged at the arrival in order to provide the visitor with a time-slot
- The audio guide is available in French, German, English, Italian, Spanish, Portugal, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean
- Students need a valid student's ID
- The museum is fully wheelchair accessible
- The average duration of the tour is one hour
- Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult
