Follow in the footsteps of Margaret Mitchell, Pulitzer-Prize-winning author of the classic American novel Gone With The Wind, during this themed guided tour!
- **Stops on your tour will include:**
- The Margaret Mitchell House (temporarily closed due to COVID-19) - the apartment where the Pulitzer-Prize winning author lived and wrote Gone With The Wind. If closed, you will visit the Gone With the Wind Museum in Marietta and its extensive collection of memorabilia from the book and film
- The Georgian Terrace - the historic hotel where the film's premiere party was held in 1939
- Inman Park - site of the Battle of Atlanta, featured prominently in the novel. The neighborhood now contains some of Atlanta's grandest Victorian homes
- Oakland Cemetery - the garden cemetery is the final resting place for thousands of Civil War soldiers as well as Margaret Mitchell and her family
- Peachtree Street - visit the location on Atlanta's major thoroughfare where Margaret Mitchell met her untimely death
- Ansley Park - tour the historic, tree-lined neighborhood where Margaret Mitchell was born

- Meeting point description: You can be picked up from any location within the Atlanta, Georgia city limits. Otherwise, you can meet at the Martin Luther King Historic site parking lot at 409 John Wesley Dobbs Ave NE. You will need to coordinate your pickup or meeting point with the tour operator after purchase.
