Medical Conditions & Fitness Requirements
If you have a medical condition that could affect your ability to safely operate the equipment, inform Poseidon Jet Ski Tours before starting. A minimum fitness level is required; participants must be able to tread water with a life jacket.

Losing Items on the Tour
Each jet ski features a forward storage locker and a glove-compartment style area for small items like mobile phones. Only bring essentials, as Poseidon Jet Ski Tours is not responsible for lost or damaged belongings. Use safety straps with sunglasses.
Weight Restrictions & Age Limits
- Maximum individual weight: 130 kg
- Combined (tandem) capacity max: 200 kg, including riders and items
- Minimum driver age: 16 years (under 18 requires a parent/guardian signature)
- Minimum passenger age for tandem riding: 7 years
The above limits ensure the comfort and safety of all guests.
Weather Considerations
Poseidon Jet Ski Tours may cancel, postpone, or reschedule tours due to adverse weather conditions. Safety is our top priority.
- 5–10 knots: Smooth with light chop
- 10–15 knots: Partially smooth with moderate chop
- 15–20 knots: Mixed conditions, increased chop

Meeting Point & Check-In Process
- Departure location: Breakfast Creek, Newstead (details provided upon confirmation)
- Check-in time: Arrive 20 minutes early for registration and safety briefing

Must Know
- Bring a valid driver’s licence or alternative photo ID for registration.
- Come prepared with a towel, protective sunwear clothing, sunscreen, a hat suitable for jet skiing, and a water bottle to ensure your comfort and safety during the tour. Optional items include bringing your own stinger suit or wetsuit if you're visiting during seasonal periods when marine stingers are present.
- Ensure you have either a camera or waterproof phone with a lanyard for capturing photos, as photography is encouraged throughout the journey.
- Please note that operating a jet ski under the influence of alcohol or any impairing substances is strictly prohibited to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment on the water.
