Meeting point description: Please arrive on time. It is recommended to be about 10 minutes early. Parking is available on the street, and a larger car park is about 3 minutes' walking distance from the diving centre. If more than 10 minutes late, entry may be refused.(SCUBANEO Diving & Instructor Training Center, Avinguda del Mal Pas, Mal Pas-Bon Aire, Spain)

• Accessibility info:A basic level of physical health and comfort in the water is required
• Not allowed:Flying in an airplane for at least 12 hours after the diving activity
• Know in advance:A parent or guardian may need to sign additional consent forms for participants under 18
• Complete the standard medical screening form before entering the water
• Multilingual staff available speaking English, German and/or Spanish
• Remember to bring:Valid government-issued photo ID or passport for registration (pictures are accepted)
• Swimsuit, towel and a change of dry clothes for after the dive
• Reef-safe sunscreen to help protect the local coastal ecosystem

What you can expect

Combine the relaxation of snorkelling with an introductory taste of scuba diving during this coastal adventure. This programme suits those who want to unwind during a snorkelling session while experiencing the unique sensation of breathing underwater for the first time.

The journey starts at the diving centre where you'll be fitted with snorkelling equipment. A speedboat then departs for a scenic trip to a local dive site, offering beautiful views of the surrounding cliffs and bays. During the boat ride, a certified instructor provides a safety briefing and explains the basic principles of both activities.

Once at the site, you'll have between 60 and 90 minutes of free time to snorkel at your own pace. This unguided session allows for a peaceful discovery of the local marine life and underwater landscapes from the surface.

During this timeframe, each person takes a turn for a private scuba trial. This one-on-one session with a dedicated instructor lasts approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Under direct supervision, individuals descend just below the surface to experience the thrill of weightlessness and underwater breathing in a safe, controlled environment.

The boat provides a comfortable base for the duration of the excursion, featuring a shaded area for relaxation. After the session, the group returns to the centre to rinse off and reflect on their first underwater breaths. This combination is an ideal way to build confidence while enjoying a classic coastal boat trip.
