What to Expect

The Modern Contemporary Museum Amsterdam (Moco) is in Villa Alsberg, a historic townhouse from 1904, right in the heart of Museumplein. Here, you can see over 50 original works by Banksy alongside pieces by other famous artists like Kusama, Roy Lichtenstein, and Dali. The museum also features changing exhibitions.

The exhibit "Banksy: Laugh Now" is the first Banksy show in an official art venue. While Moco doesn’t claim to have Banksy's endorsement, it offers a rare chance to see his art, including *Beanfield*, which hasn’t been displayed since 2009.

You’ll find well-known street art pieces like the *Laugh Now* series, *Barcode*, *Girl with Balloon*, and *Love Is In The Air (Flower Thrower)*. There are also some of Banksy's striking indoor works, set against the elegant backdrop of the townhouse.
