Queen Victoria and Prince Albert acquired the Osborne estate in 1845 as an escape from court life in London and Windsor. The Italianate design of the house was heavily influenced by Prince Albert, leading to what became known as 'the Osborne style,' replicated across the British empire. Each year, they spent time at this seaside retreat for special occasions like birthdays. After Prince Albert's death in 1861, Queen Victoria found comfort here and continued visiting for over 50 years. The estate also hosted numerous queens, kings, and ministers.

During your visit to Osborne House Entry Tickets in the United Kingdom, explore the royal marriage story, family history, and empire legacy by exploring opulent rooms.
