Monserrate Palace, founded in 1858, is the UNESCO World Heritage. Originally, it was a traditional summer resort for the Portuguese Court. It presents the 19th-century eclecticism, Gothic, Moorish and Indian influences and checks out the interesting plant motifs everywhere.
